Watching this game makes me miss OBJ and Jarvis even more I sure hope Dupre and Quinn can produce enough to lessen the pain

They were on fire that game.
Wish the same could be said about the defense.

Doesn't matter if you have team full of jerry rice's
Gotta have somebody that can throw them the football.
ZMett is the guy we are all gonna miss.

This game was more of the same shite d until the 2nd half. They turned a bit of a corner in this game.

That's true, but I just have a feeling that Brandon is gonna come in and beast in the air AND on the ground

i really hope so. You just never know with a true freshman quarterback.

I actually don't think they did. The offense scored so consistently that eventually, their offense started throwing picks. Fundamentally, the D played really badly in this game. They turned the corner in the Iowa game. That was a real LSU defense.

I don't remember Moo State punting at all. It's been a while since watching the game but that game is what made me say that we were 100% an offensive team.

We really turned it on at the end of that game but I must be honest...Mississippi State's DL really owned our OL that game. Hill and Hilliard broke some big runs so they finished with nice averages but MSU had 8 tackles for loss on us that night (3 sacks) and several more where we gained just 0, 1 or 2 yards. They really controlled the LOS when we were on offense but Beckham Jr and Landry just kept making them pay over and over and over.

I really cant be more happy Stud is gone. We need someone who can really coach up an OL.

I felt like the d stopped them in the second half and they couldn't stop the o anymore. So what happens, a 59-26 win. I was nervous as hell that first half though. Our d was trash.

That was the most grinding 3 touchdown win ever.

Almost a five TD win that was iffy at the start of the fourth. We our scored them 28-0 in the fourth I think.

2nd Half the "D" showed up. MSU only got a field goal on their opening drive, we shut them down. Their D Lin did an average job against us, they stacked the box and Mett had one of his best games because of it.

The real thing that I took away from watching this game was at the end of the game about 6-7 minutes left. Mett and all of our starting O-line were still in the game with a 26 point lead. I know it is hind sight but that would have been a good opportunity to get Jennings some reps, and to avoid a possible injury. We went on to score another TD with all our starters still in the game.
