New York Beer Pickup

Friend of mine is making a road trip to NY area. Anything he should keep an eye out for? I am having him get some from smuttynose (NH) and sixpoint but there are a ton up there. What should he keep an eye out for that texas or LA can't get or seasonals that don't make it here?
I like all types of beers so style isn't an issue, I am partial to IPAs but a stouts, sours, porters, saisons, ales etc are all good.

Honestly there's so much I would just have him go to Top Hops down on Orchard and ask the guys working what the best bombers and cans they have in right now are. Tell em you want various styles.
Also do some research on Hoppin Frog you may like some of their stouts they have out right now.
New Beer Distributors in Chinatown is another excellent place to buy bottles.

sixpoint has a lot of great stuff. New Beer Distributors is where he should go.
Some other good ones to get are ballast point, allagash, troegs (i think they get that there), weyerbacher, and victory.

I've really enjoyed the beers from Southampton and Captain Lawrence.
