I'm planning on driving over there from Knoxville tomorrow just to look around and hopefully eat a couple good meals. Might spend most of the day there so any kind of meal or restaurant is welcome. Anyone have a favorite place to go to here?

Pancake Pantry, again and again. Also in Knoxville be sure to get a burger at Litton's -- their pimento cheese burger best burger I've ever had.

Ok thanks. looked at Pancake Pantry and Log Cabin pancake house and wasn't sure which to pick. Had Calhouns down on the river in Knoxville last night. The patio view was great, pulled pork platter was ok. Maybe I'll try Litton's for dinner or something

Pancake Pantry has some unusual items, but everything I've had there has been great.

For dinner in Gatlinburg try the Peddler or Park Grill. Owned by same people. Nice steakhouse and awesome salad bar. Peddler sits on the river and may need a reservation. Park grill is huge and similar menu.

Pancake Pantry for breakfast but line starts after 7:30. For lunch we usually just hit up anywhere on the street for something quick to eat.
