the consensus around here seems to be that tre white and robinson will be the starters, which i think is obviously true. But what role, if any, do yall see ed paris playing this season?

He'll play. Won't start, but we'll see him out there. He's going to be a tyrant on the field for us.

I'm just not sure what you're looking for here.

Like our talented freshmen always do, he'll see a good bit of action every game and play a big role in our success

He played exceptionally well in the spring game. I definitely see him getting some PT

Paris is not taking over for White or Robinson. He will be lucky to play nickel this year.

if he is going to play then it means he is really good and will most likely be our nickel. I think Dwayne Thomas pretty much locked up the nickel, so it will mean good things are ahead if this guy takes the position away from Thomas...

That being said, Bama knew our corners were good last year and they picked on Mills in the slot a bunch. Thankfully Mills will be at safety (a better spot for him), but I'm also not sure I am thrilled with Thomas's man coverage ability either. A 3rd good corner would make this secondary ridiculous.

He will be our 3rd corner and play a lot in nickel. I firmly believe he will be an All American next season. Dude can out right ball.

i think cause he is a big, physical corner he will play bump and run and move tre inside. No, no I'm not saying Paris is better than white but hell Peterson did it sometimes too his Sr year.

Paris will be a ball hawk for our defense. Expect him to play nickel and dime, and sub for White or Robinson if they need some plays off.

Paris and Thomas will be sneaky good this year.

Not saying Ed Paris won't get a lot of pt this year but D. Thomas is the 3rd corner. Dude can straight up ball. Don't get it twisted

Possibly nickel/third CB. Definitely will play when we use four CBs against a 4 or 5 wide set.

I think it's safe to say DBU is re-establishing itself as a premier institution.

He's too good not to see the field, dont know if he'll be the third CB right away but he should get some playing time. Will be a special player by the time his time at LSU is up
