Alright I have FIFA 14 for the Xbox one and I have single handily found a way to tie every game in my premier league season with Man U...

I don't know everything about soccer, but I know enough.

What are some tips to help me go in dry on the CPU?

i suck pretty bad (i think at least haha)

but i normally win my games like 2-0 or 3-0 rarely do they score on me.

I dont waste my time with crosses for the sidelines. I just try to work it inside and try to kick it once i reach the penalty kick area. and aim for one side or another. Normally works once or twice a game

Are you getting shots on goal?

Try aiming your shots to the opposite side. If you're on the bottom of the screen press up as you shoot to shoot towards the top side of the goal and vice versa.

Don't hold down the turbo button the whole time. Use it mostly on defense and rarely on offense.

Make sure your LW and RW have a lot of speed and use them to get the ball down the field. When the defender closes in on you, hold down the left trigger and roll your fingers from B to A while changing directions with the left stick. This will make him do a sick cutback move. Seems hard but really isnt.

Maybe try to learn a couple skill moves. The best way to do this is to download the FIFA Street demo and mess around. They use the same skill moves and force you to use them.

If you get a break on the goalie and he decides to leave his line, finesse shots to the far side are your friend. Also, I've found pretty good success with crosses in 14.

I'd also say to not be afraid to pass on the ground in the box. I've had some success recently with strikers sprinting ahead of defenders for the easy chip in.

This was the first FIFA I've played since the N64, so I did a lot of self learning.

Be patient with your build up. Don't be afraid to go backwards and reset.

Chip shot if a goalie rushes at you in the box.

Work the edges. Look for crosses. Header goals are pretty easy to get.

Master a couple skill moves to use against defenders.

Play passing lanes and use a help defender.

Work your roster around too during the season. Playing Liverpool in the FA cup semis in a few days? Why load up all your
star players to play a mid season match against a scrub Hull City squad? Do you want Nani/Van Persie to blow a hamstring?

I'm using sliders I got from OS to combat that. It really turns Fifa 14 into such a smooth game. I'll try to find the link.
