First off just wanted to say hey and I just bought tickets for the Mississipi State game on September 20. I will be going with five others. This will be my first game as an adult and since moving back to Louisiana after my time in the Navy and wanted to get some advice on parking, tailgating, etc. Thanks and hope to be apart of many discussions with you fine gentlemen (and gentlewomen?).

Arrive early for parking, and if you're in one of the free lots, remember it's not burger king and you cannot have it your way.

We were planning to get there around 8 in the morning. Wheres a good place to set up and is that early enough to set up?

Honestly.. as long as you bring the beer and get there fairly early to set up shop. You are golden.
Plenty of good tail gate spots kind of hard to mess it up. Geaux Tigers.
