How many of you track the toughest tournament in the U.S.?

This is my favorite time of year for wresting, new prospects get observed by college coaches, some don't want to cut the weight & change weights, & others still trying to scrap it out for a minor scholarship to wrestle in college instead of just walking on.

What years?

Were you able to ever trade for the elusive Hawaii or Alaska team gear?

I'm assuming you didn't wrestle in college or try out the springs. No worries, I didn't either and wasn't even close to being good enough to try out at Colorado springs.

Is collegiate wrestling tougher?
absolutely.

Are the world team trials a totally different level that I can't Imagine?

Obviously.

However, with Fargo and High School kids having to make scratch every day (takes a toll on you after a couple of days & your in a bracket with 70+ guys) that they are wrestling, hoping that some D1 recruiter will watch them and gain an interest in them makes the process very exciting (upsets/meltdowns/general shock & awe).

Sorry you didn't make the state team BAW.
