Which WR group do you think had the better career at LSU? Now that the careers at LSU are wrapped up on OBJ and Landry. Which group do you think had the most talent.

Was watching Bon Stonkers "Defenders of the SEC" and it made me think of did the talent that year catch up to 2006.

Pick your poison. There is no wrong answer here just preference.

2006:
Dwayne Bowe; 1st Rd, 23rd Overall, Chiefs
Early Doucet; 3rd Rd, 81st Overall, Cardinals
Craig Davis; 1st Rd, 30th Overall, Chargers
Brandon LaFell; 3rd Rd, 78th Overall, Panthers

2011:
Rueben Randle; 2nd Rd, 63rd Overall, Giants
Odell Beckham Jr; 1st Rd, 12th Overall, Giants
Jarvis Landry; 2nd Rd, 63rd Overall, Dolphins
Russell Shepard; UDFA, Buccaneers

Maybe in a few years we will be able to bring up Trey Quinn and Malachi Duprees class.

There is no LSU offense I enjoyed watching more than the 2006 one.

Except they screwed up a lot. High powered, but made a lot of mistakes. Hence the two losses.

I was trying to pick a 4th to balance it and picked between Russell Shepard and Kadron Boone.

Remember LaFell's drop against AU (I think). Right in the basket and he bobbled it up for the pick.

I'm still pissed about that drop.

2006 It always seemed like that squad had a chance to score on every play/drive.

2011 was great, but I'd go with 2006.

Top 3 are pretty close, but LaFell > Shep

06 easy.. now if they are all playing up to their potential.. then it's tough.. like landry and beckham took off their junior season..
