So, I'm almost done with Season 1 and have a question. Why, in every island flashback, does Oliver have his top button on his shirt always buttoned or he's got on some kind of mock turtleneck thing. Is there a reason they're trying to hide the man's Adam's apple? Makes him look pretty dopey, especially the buttoned up shirt.

A douche would be damn sure to still take care of how he dressed, even on the island. Preppy douches don't button their shirts to their neck. It makes him look more like Rainman than a rich prick.

They are trying to make him appear weaker and slimmer. He's a ripped dude, he's not supposed to be ripped on the island yet
