Pelicans Talk over 21 basketball team (Northshore area)

I remember there was a thread started on this board looking for an adult basketball league on the northshore. That fell through because at the time, none of the parks were providing a league until recently.
I'm on my buddy's team, but it was communicated that the league still needs a couple more teams to sign up before the league can start. It was supposed to start July 23rd, but it was pushed back to July 30th. Games are Wednesdays nights at Coquille in Covington.

To sign up, you register a login name, then there should be an option of "adult basketball" pop up on your members page. Yall get a team together; you only need 5 ppl, but 6 would probably be the minimum if I was starting one (old folks need breathers!).
ETA: Registration ends this Thursday at 5pm so yall get a team going!

Interesting. I might see if I can field a team of 5 but we would be a young team haha. What's minimum age my brother and I are 19/22

Not 100% sure but I think 21. However it could be 18...not sure. Give them a call. Id hate for the league to be cancelled bc there are 1 or 2 teams needed so please try to join!

21 is an odd cutoff age...18 is per usual for these sorts of leagues.

Im in if anyone wants a 37 year old scrub in a headband, wristbands, safety goggles, and knee high striped tube socks. Cant jump anymore but basketball I.Q. is phenomenal and I still got the Ray Allen stroke.
eta: not really, but I am 37 and still play almost every sunday with the young bucks in the ymca/parks etc

I have like a 2 inch vertical jump but I bring down rebounds like it's going out of style. Mostly because I foul at an almost constant rate as I play basketball.
I'm like a really really unathletic and unskilled Charles Barkley out there. That has no idea how to play basketball.
