A bet was made after a drunken discussion happened last summer and I want to get the MSB opinion.

Person 1: Rory will win 4 majors in the next 5 years.

Person 2: Tiger will win 4 majors the next 5 years.

Person 3: No one will win 4 majors in next 5 years.

What bet would the MSB back if forced to make a decision?

I will admit that I was person 3.

How often has that ever happened? 4 majors in 5 years?

I know Tiger did it. I think Faldo. I assume Jack. And probably someone pre WWII.

But to pick a specific 5 year period and bet on 4 majors, odds got to be stacked against. Am I wrong?

someone is just trying to be argumentative.

I'd go with either 1 or 3, with 3 being more likely.

He seems to be figuring this thing out. 4 Majors in 5 years could be right up his alley. Rory is the obvious choice, but I think Ricky could do this.

I would take Spieth over Fowler. Must be the cap thing.

At this point honestly choice 1 seems pretty good followed closely by 3. I'm a huge Tiger supporter too but I just don't see it happening

If I read it right, Trevino did it twice from 68-72 he won 4 and from 71-74 he won 4.

Had he not been struck by lightening in '75 I can see Trevino winning double digit majors for his career.
