Should be required viewing for High School Civics. Pretty much slams the door on Obama's 'apology' meme and the whole Capitalism/Freedom sucks crowd.

I had forgot about the guy who started Facebook, and then slammed Obama....and then got hit back by Holder...and committed suicide instead of going to jail with heathens.

And didn't know that pre-Civil War, almost HALF of the Plantations that owned slaves, were owned by Blacks.

Or that both English children and Irish slaves (indentured servants) were hijacked from their homes, and worked beside Black slaves.

Good show. Go see it. Support might keep D'Souza out of jail...and Hillary/E. Warren out of power.

And right after they watch this, they should watch a Michael Moore film. Instead of believing either filmmaker's bullshite, they'd get a valuable lesson in bias.

That pretty much kills it's credibility.

One of the few that engaged in eugenic engineering (breeding) of slaves to get higher prices was a South Carolina Black plantation owner, NT. Forgot his name.

You really think D'Souza hasn't researched his facts? Hell, Glenn Beck would have wiped the floor with him already if he lied.

Not that this will matter, for them that tow the Statist line.

Forgot the Facebook/Reddit (something like that) young man's name too. Super rich/high profile. He did pull a Snowden stunt, hacked in a gave copywritten stuff to the people; but the owners of the Copywrights let it go. Holder didn't. The guy was going down. Rather than to face the heathen...he offed himself.

Makes me glad hell is never half full. I suspect Holder will wake up in the bottom of a slave ship in his next life, and wonder why God put him there. Some people just can't handle freedom...much less power.

You should have some knowledge of history before laughing at a post.

This is an article by Henry Louis Gates Jr., Ohama's Harvard "beer summit" buddy, about Black ownership of slaves, while the actual number is debatable it did exist. Melrose Plantation in North LA was built and operated by free blacks.

Seriously RCD. I think you're a good guy. I imagine we take a different approach to life and politics, but you're one person on here who seems sincere and honestly devoid of mean-spiritedness. But come one, bro.

That's just bad. D'Souza is terrible. And he's weird. I honestly don't know what this guy's deal is, but he's no friend to the cause of the average conservative.

I love Black people, MB. I always root for a triumphant underdog. If they have character. Especially that Black lady who was the FIRST woman millionaire in our nation.

So "they existed" equals "almost half"? I like history. I'm amused by buffoonery, but only so much.

Well, it wasn't nearly half - but the numbers of FPCs owning slaves would shock most people today, black and white. And while a good portion that did exist was family-related - there are gobs of stories about that not working as magnanimously as you might expect either.

And a shocking number, particularly in Louisiana had significant slave holdings, purely for economic reasons (i.e. the same reason that whites held slaves.)

There was even a brief period where free blacks purchased the services of white indentured servants from Europe - which was just one step above chattel slavery.

wasting your time RCD. The truth could hit some of these boys right between their eyes and they'd still be to blind to see. They've been Brian washed since birth. Instead of arguing facts they hurl insults. That's why so many of them struggle through life.
