I have a feeling he just may become our guy in 2016.

Recruiting is a crazy game.

Good idea to offer Patterson. Franks is very talented baseball player that is a pitcher that throws in the low 90's at 16years old. He could be a draft risk.

Sources close to me say he's flipping within the next 2 or 3 months.

Seen this kid play last year looks very good, hope we can get him to commit. If he doesn't though I can fully understand why, Harris is probably going to start this year and for the next 2 or 3 years after. Who knows, wish him well no matter what he chooses to do.

Harris should not be a factor AT ALL on a 2016 commit. If his ceiling is as high as we think, he'll only be on the team for one year with Patterson/Franks.

You're right. I wasn't thinking clearly when I wrote that. You think Having him and Franks in the same class would create another 2 QB system??

I find it hard to believe we end up with both in the end, honestly. If Shea commits in the future, then I'm sure the staff will have a talk with Franks and see how he feels about all this. Two stud QBs in the same class is an extremely difficult pull. Again, there's also the outside chance he goes into pro baseball, too. I imagine this is a factor in it all as well.

didn't bam a just pull cooper bateman and jacob coker?

didn't we pull flynn and jamarcus

not doubting the difficulty but i think the appeal for baseball AND football is great for Franks

It's not exactly common, though. LSU Baseball being that good does help, but there's also the chance of him going pro. All this leads back to the fact that LSU doesn't want another Zach Lee situation in which we are left empty handed with a top flight QB in a class. Ideally, you get 1 scholarship QB every single class, but it doesn't always work out that way. I imagine there's a chance for both to make it here, but I don't think it's the most likely scenario. It really all depends on how each guy feels about having another top QB in the same class. I'm sure we'll hear more about it later on IF or WHEN Shea decides if he wants to come here.

Great offer. It's rare to find this kind of talent at QB in our state. It would be nice to have back to back LA quarterbacks leading LSU.

In the end I don't think Arizona is going to sign him. I don't think he is ours this fast though. It will turn into a Texas/LSU/Bama battle with my prediction being he signs with us with Texas being close.

Aren't there like 2-3 good to great QB's in the 2016 class from LA?
