The Felon for Congress: EWE 2nd Q Campaign Donors

Some of the notables on the list:
Former U.S. Senator for Louisiana. Viewed by many in the state media as some great statesman and bastion of integrity.
Author of The Felon's biography and rumored to be planning a movie about the convicted criminal.
Former Chairman of the Louisiana Democrat Party before race-baiter Karen Carter Peterson took over.
This one is VERY interesting. About 2-3 years ago, Mr. Mallett started making the rounds as some conservative Republican activist/promoter. Several appearances on the Moon Griffon show, front-page picture and article about him on the Louisiana State Republican Party's website for a couple months stent, and soon found himself appointed to the LSU Board of Supervisors.
Big money man and BIG mover and shaker in Crowley/Acadia Parish, where The Felon's political career started to take root. The Crowley Rice Festival a few years ago named Edwin Edwards the grand marshal of their parade before he had even been released from his Oakdale residence.

Nope, these are our idiots. These are our people who think it’s a good idea to support a felon convicted on public corruption charges as the next congressman from the 6th District.

Well, except for the Vietnamese massage parlor owner in San Diego who gave him $7,500. (No, we’re not kidding about that).
Edwards must have visited a tug and rub in SD and gave a helluva tip.

I'm no fan of John Breaux but in all fairness was Edwards' aide, when Edwards was in Congress.
And Patton and Boggs, is in big, big trouble for some questionable practices, so maybe they're just hedging their bets.
