Also, you made another mistake by not paying homage to the PC master race. They get a little insecure if you don't mention them

buy whatever your friends are using.
if you have no friends, buy whichever console offers exclusive games that interest you.
if you play nothing but sports titles and the occasional multiplat shooter, it really doesn't make a damn bit of difference which one you go with...

I asked this two days ago. You can search for my thread. Got some decent feedback.
Went with the PS4 after researching everything.
The only advantage for me of the XBO was the tv integration and I just decided it wasn't worth the hassle right now.
I'm familiar with the PS system and would only be playing every now and then. Thus, I went with that.
Some questions that you need to answer for a proper answer from everyone here:
1. What games do you want to play?
2. What system do your friends have?
3. Do you care about voice commands and tv integration?
Those are the most important questions. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with either.

Yeah, I understand why most are saying that, but it didn't have any impact on my decision.

I own both but my xbox has not done much. Granted I buy all the multi platform games on my ps4. Titanfall was nothing special IMO so I traded it back to get credit for Destiny on PS4 (where my buddies are at). When that Halo Master Chief collection drops I'll be on the xbone a lot more.
