I think this is a way to get him on the field and use his ability. if he was getting the bulk of the carries this year he wouldn't be risked on special teams. He will be a valuable third down back for us.

I know Faulk did both but that was on a talent deprived LSU team.

Magee for #18 seems to be the general consensus around here. I agree with it, hope it happens.

Lulz.

Magee is going to play a lot for us this year. All over the field. He will start multiple games.

Using him on special teams means nothing more than the fact that Miles trusts in his return ability and has confidence in it.

Magee will not be our 3rd back. Dude played great last year. I expect the same or better from him this year. Him and Fournette will be a badass 1 2 punch will Hilliard and Williams bustin arse late in games

Indeed he did. Magee is a great player. If someone told me he would get 20+ carries/game (I know what that implies but in and of itself) I would have no problems.

As the season progresses, I hope they give other guys like Adams, Chark chances(of course once they prove ball security)

Those teams were not talent-deprived. Faulk was just that good.

Magee must be pretty damn good at returning kicks if he's the best at it on a team with the athletes LSU has.

Magee will be our workhorse back until/unless Fournette explodes down the stretch
