I've been meaning to post about this, and now that there is a music board, which i never venture to, i guess i'll start a topic.
Does anyone else listen to these guys? There first album was very good. I liked nearly every single song. I haven't listened to the 2nd album, but i heard a few clips and they sound much different. Just wondering if anyone else has listened to them.

I do. My Freshman year at LSU, my parents gave me tickets to see Jet at the Varsity and Crash Kings opened for them. They blew me away and I bought their album that night (the one with Mountain Man). What an incredible album. I played it on repeat in my car for months and still listen to many of the songs frequently. I haven't heard anything off of the second album.

Saw them at Tip's in December 2009 with Rooney and they were pretty damn good. Saw them again a couple months later at the Varsity opening for Jet. I didn't even know they put out a second album, but their first one got some serious play on my iPod.
Evolution of Rock with no guitars.

The no guitars thing was what really struck me. That piano player would go nuts with his whammy bar, though
