You think Tamu/Ole Miss in College Station is a top candidate for Gameday in the middle of October?

Just in the SEC that day:
-LSU/UF
-Mizzou/UGA
-Alabama/Arkansas
-Auburn/Miss St.

Thats just in the SEC and it might be the 3rd/4th best.

Outside the SEC:

-Penn St./Michigan
-UNC/Notre Dame
-TEXAS/OKLAHOMA
-Louisville/Clemson
-USC/Arizona

But yeah, Ole Miss/TAMU will definitely be up there

I don't feel like going through your other dates. I hope you researched them better.

Would be cool. Come on Navy!!!

ETA: I take it there is no chance Gameday will be in Dublin for week 1?

That 2009 Ohio State/Navy game at the Shoe was epic

My heart sank when Navy threw that interception on the 2 point conversion to tie, as if I was watching my own team. Heartbreaking loss

Pretty sure Oxford will be the pick if Ole Miss and Bama are both 4-0.

Over Auburn/LSU? And with Gameday's history of spurning Oxford? ehhhhh

And I haven't looked outside the SEC to see what else there is.

Of all of those games, LSU/UF and Texas/Ok are the only comparable games.

ESPN/Gameday wants Oxford, so I think two 4-0 teams (both ranked in the Top 15 or so) would be enough reason to finally make the trip.

They did go to Auburn last year a few times, and I suppose K-State could beat Auburn early in the season...

You're not thinking like ESPN.

They see Penn St. with a new black coach vs. Michigan.

They see Petrino back at Louisville vs. Dabo and Clemson.

Its about storylines as much as football, and TAMU/Ole Miss just isn't intriguing on a national level. (nor do I think LSU/UF really is)

Texas with Strong vs. OU will most certainly win out though.

Even if both LSU and Auburn are undefeated?
