Anyone intrested in fishing this tournament go sign up, it's going to be a great time with lots of prizes.

There will be all kinds of door prizes to give away (you can go and not catch a single fish and still win) from K2 coolers, DUCE fishing rods, & H&H lures. Also giving away a Jackson Cuda 12' to whoever catches the redfish with the most spots. So it's totally luck and you could luck out and win a free kayak.

They will be paying out the top 5. If you are in the top 5 you can't win a door prize that is why they are only paying out the top 5. I they pay top 7 then the 6th and 7th place wouldn't get that much money and would lose out on the chance to win a $200 rod or K2 cooler.

Its only $40 with the trout Calcutta, $35 without. Not to mention it's the same weekend as the tarpon rodeo so having fun after the tournament won't be a problem. Along with Abita beer donating 10 cases to drink after the tournament.

If anyone is going this weekend be careful of private property down there. A number of land owners are arresting kayakers for fishing on their "private water". Kind of bull shite but still

Hands behind the back, zip tie style citizens arrest, or calling the cops and having them come arrest them?

I'm pretty sure they have the law enforcement involved. Who ever patrols the water out of Fourchon will be arresting people, and you can bet with it being the Tarpon rodeo they will be out in full force.

Honestly, I doubt anyone has been arrested. I was warned, but it sounds to me that the guy telling everyone there has been arrests is just a scare tactic.

Regardless, theres plenty of other spots to fish down there- even more east of the guys property and the fish are plentiful. Not worth getting ticketed or even warned, as that means you lose valuable fishing time to catch that elusive 20 spot red!
