LSU will be breaking in a new QB, Alabama will be breaking in a new QB.
There isn't a drastic difference in the difficulty of the schedules. 'Bama returns just 1 starter in their secondary.
Yet, everyone has Alabama winning the SEC and making it into the playoffs, while no one seems to give LSU a chance.
It's either a lack of respect for the program, the belief that we simply lack the talent that Alabama has, or both.

I hate to say it but purely objectively auburn looks to be in the best shape. The Gus Bus is real.
But the decline is not.

MSU isn't in a bad situation either - they return 8 starters on both sides.
Why are there discrepancies in the expectations for LSU and Alabama this year? Why, if we're in the exact same situation as they are, are most LSU fans expecting 2-3 losses while most Alabama fans expect an appearance in the national title?
