Does anyone know the latest on his arrival date? I know he said originally that he would be here for June6, which did not happen. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

He should be here by the time of fall camp. Waiting on his grade from the summer school class he had to take.

Why do Fla kids seem to have so much trouble getting to campus at the same time as the others? PP7, Avery, RR21 and now Valentine..

Other schools could say the same for Louisiana, lots of our guys going out of state struggle to get cleared in time as well

You may recall on PP7, then Florida head coach Urban Meyer initiated contact with the NCAA Clearinghouse and had his ACT score tagged when it rose from a 16 to a 22, proving to many LSU fans that he was indeed as big a jerk as everyone thought he was. Thus, PP7 could not enroll early and participate in spring practices, but had to wait until that summer to arrive at LSU. And I thought PP7 was more interested in both Florida State and Miami than he was in Florida.
But your overall premise is correct--it does seem to usually take longer for players who are from Florida to be cleared by the NCAA.

Valentine was a grade risk from the jump. Not just after he committed to LSU.
