Any of you that have complained here about the police could have blood on your hands!

Plus are you an 'anti-government extremist?'

quote:

After a historic decline in the number of police officers fatally shot last year, 2014 has rebounded to previous levels. Beck and Soldo are among 28 U.S. officers shot and killed in the line of duty so far this year. The most recent death came Sunday, when rookie Jersey City, N.J., Officer Melvin Santiago was ambushed by a gunman who reportedly told people he was “going to be famous” for killing a cop.

Such shameless bravado — online and off — and an exploding right-wing movement are creating anxiety about attacks against police. “There's a deep concern that there has been a measurable increase in violence against police officers, especially with firearms,” said Rich Roberts, spokesman for the International Union of Police Associations. The anti-police movement “seems to feed off each other online,” he said.

quote:

Last week the SPLC issued a report warning law enforcement about the increasingly hostile anti-government movement, which it estimates has grown from 150 groups in 2008 to nearly 1,100 last year.

The economic crisis, proposed gun control, Barack Obama’s election, NSA spying and the militarization of police among other issues have spurred the resurgence, the watchdog organization said.

How the hell is this a right wing movement? Or any "wing" movement for that matter.

At this point, I see Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and pretty much ignore it.

They equate veterans and family-values organizations which don't support gay marriage as hate-groups.

Well, has there been, or hasn't there been?

Dont forget the "seemingly" increase in cops pulling their guns and killing innocent citizens for no reason and getting away with it.

Thats seemingly increasing too.

this.

its criminals that kill cops. no law abiding person would pull on a cop, unless they didn't know they were a copy.

Reports of cops randomly shooting dogs sure seems through the roof.

Isn't torturing or killing small animals considered to be a warning sign of a budding psychopath?

These attacks on police only appear to be more common because they are posted all over the Internet. You never see positive things that people do for police posted online.

It's a shame that the few bad apples in the public ruin the image of the entire public.

wow, the internet is killing cops...

this means cops are bitching about their perception to union heads, which is good. They should be fricking scared. Scared cops makes for a safe America.

Imagine that - the cops deflecting. How about looking at your behavior over the last couple decades? And what relation is there between the rebound in cop deaths and no-knock raids?

you know what is hilarious...citizens aren't fearful of criminals. If they threaten us, we can shoot them. Cops? They can do whatever they like, if you defend yourself and you don't have a go pro capturing everything...you're fricked

They call it anti cop, I call it pro freedom. It's like a business putting out a shitty product and then blaming consumers for the backlash...why not instead examine why nobody likes cops. Perhaps, the internet is not to blame (I suppose if you're anti freedom then the free exchange of ideas probably chaps your arse) Maybe people of all political persuasions distrust cops...plus I promise you if we do a study on who is killing cops, it will be proportionally one sided

Whackos shoot anybody; police aren't immune.

There have been NO Right wing execution-style cop killings. Or anybody for that matter. The Right Winggers are keeping their powder dry...in case they need it.

Police need to stay honest and act with respect...then they will get respect. As should we all. If they abuse their authority...some crazy sobs out there that might follow them home. I wouldn't even shoot some road-rogue the bird in traffic nowadays. Never know.

Good. I hope they are scared. Maybe they will start acting within the scope of the law and stop trying to be Mr Big Dick
