Cross Upgrades with sprint

Anyone know if Sprint allows you to cross upgrade? I pay for several people's lines including my mom and grandma who never upgrade their phone. When the I-phone 6 rolls out I would like to upgrade but I used my upgrade on the 5s. Can I use their available upgrade for myself. I know you can do this with AT&T but have never tried with Sprint. I have heard that sometimes you can go through best buy to cross upgrade but still have never tried.

I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure that the upgrade is tied to the phone number on accounts with multiple lines. My wife and I share an account and that was my understanding.

I've done that many times.
Taken upgrades from people. Like my grandma was on my family account a few years ago and she didn't need a new phone so id use hers
