Anyone fish Caney Lake recently?

I'll be up there this week and was debating bringing my pirouge and rod. I don't bass fish so it would be sacalait and bream

I haven't been there lately but I am sure the bream will be biting. I doubt the white perch will be biting. The largemouth bass should be schooling hard during the heat of the day.

Bass schooling outside the channels..12-16 ft of water. They like a rattle trap.

Perch..See a few folks spider rigging in deep flats.

Bream--get after it. Easy!

If schooling bite is dead try black blue jigs around boat docks.

Ima planning headed over tomorrow for some bass fishing. Heard they catching some monster bream

There's a store at the boat launch at the damn and a store and launch at the bridge on hwy 4.
