I have to go with Les because he relates to the younger players better and uses modern technology twitter and texts. He also landed Buga (Fournette) and great classes. It seems that Saban is fading and getting old. Can't stay on top forever.... :dude: :dude:

both of them are great. I think strictly recruiting it goes to Les. Saban wins more so it is a little easier for him to get guys. Not saying its hard to get them to come to LSU but you know what I mean. Les has also done a great job of surrounding himself with the best recruiters around.

I'd probably have to go with the coach that seems to have the #1 class every year....and that's Nick Saban.

Umm, no. Both are great recruiters. There's not much separation between them. The question is how Saban will recruit after a couple of subpar seasons, when he can't point to the rings. Miles has shown he can double down and refocus. Saban hasn't had to do that, and it eventually happens to everybody, even Saban.

Going by the numbers reported last year, Bama outspends LSU on recruiting by about double...that doesn't include what the REC spends

All of the recruiting services say Saban, by a landslide. #1 class every year pretty much.

2014 class rankings:
Rivals - #1 Alabama
Scout - #1 Alabama
ESPN - #1 Alabama
Yahoo - #1 Alabama
247 - #1 Alabama

I'm a pretty big LM supporter, but this is stupid.

How can you argue against Bama's current recruiting streak? I'm pretty sure Bama has had the #1 recruiting class in about 6/8 years.

We're discussing recruiting, figured I'd toss that out there. Did I offend?
