This year should be very good in all 3 sports, but if you look at all sports in the 2015-2016 season LSU should be staaaccckkkkkeeeedddd.

Football potential starting lineup-

QB - Jennings (Jr) or Harris (So) - One will have separated from the other at this point with a year of experience
RB - Buganation (So), Brossette (Fr) and Guice (Fr) - possibly the best rb combo ever
WR - Dupree (So), Tyron Johnson (Fr 5 Star hopefully), Dural (Jr) Quinn (So) - unreal talent
TE - Smith (Jr)
O Line - Hawkins (Jr), Alexander (Sr.), Pocic (Jr), Brumfield (So), Teuhama (Fr 5star) - possible weak point but a ton of talent
D Line - Hunter (Sr), Lacouture (Jr), Thomas (Sr), Bower (Jr) - Hunter should be back unless he has a breakout season.
LB - Alexander (Sr), Beckwith (Jr), Jones (Sr) - Absolutely loaded
Secondary - White (Jr), Robinson (Jr), Thompson (Sr), Mills (Sr) - Scary good
K - Delahoussaye (JR)
P - Keehn (Sr)

I didn't even list all of the stud backups.

We do have to go to Bama and South Carolina, but with the top 4 playoff now, it is hard to imagine we can't get into it with that loaded roster. Hopefully we could get into the semifinal in Dallas and have a huge homefield advantage.

Basketball-

We haven't won a basketball championship since before the tourney began way back in the day, but check out the roster for the 2015-2016 season and tell me we don't have a good shot:.

PG - Gray (Sr) - Juco stud
SG - Hornsby (Sr) - going to light it up
SF - Ben Simmons (#1 high school player in the country)
PF - Mickey (Jr) - if he stays which he might to play with Simmons
C - Robinson ( SO) revamping his figure
Bench - Martin (Jr) may start if Mickey leaves
Bench - Quarterman (Jr)
Bench - Bridgewater (Jr)
Bench - Malone (Jr)

That is 9 deep right there, and we will have a balance of upper classmen and young studs. Simmons will have us on the national map.

Baseball-

Manieri always has us in the hunt for Omaha. I am sure the 2015-2016 season will be another great one for LSU baseball.

Pitchers - Poche (Jr), Marshall (So), Devall (Sr), Newman (Sr)
C - Chinea (sr)
1b - Beau Jordan (So) stud
2b - Robertson (Jr) developing into a nice player
SS - Bregman (Sr) chance he goes pro, but the guy loves it here and I can see him staying 4 years
3b - Byrd (So) Have heard good things
OF - Stevenson (Sr)
OF - Bryce Jordan (So) stud
OF - Laird (Sr) - would he leave early? Lack of power may keep him in school

Next year will be great, but 2015-2016 could be epic.

We have a lot to look forward to.

From the basketball perspective, It will really depend on if we can keep Martin and Mickey here. I don't think we can and I don't think we compete for a National Title, but we will make the tournament that year even if we lose both Martin and Mickey.

If we keep Martin, Mickey, and Simmons, plus the two senior guards in Hornsby and Gray that will be a lethal group of athletes that could very well make a run. BUT I just don't see it happening.

I do think it's the perfect storm of gifted athletes in each of the sports, and I don't think anyone could possibly expect 3 championships, however we could possibly contend in all three which would be an amazing accomplishment in itself.

If we made a sweet 16, CWS, and Football playoff that would be a very outstanding athletic year.

He's also got Hunter Devall as a key returning pitcher surrounded by 3 studs.

I don't know which assertion is more suspect.
