You might have to actually do a double take on this but Chinea and Robertson are destroying things in Cape Cod this summer. Laid, Stevenson, Hale and Zardon are all doing very very healthy themselves. Unfortunately Fraley is struggling quite a bit. Also, not cape cod related but Bregman is hitting just .227 right now on the USA National Team after a decent start.

Fraley - (71 AB) .211, 2 2B, 1 3B, 4 for 4 SB
Zardon - (67 AB) .284, 4 2B, 2 for 5 SB
Robertson - (59 AB) .339, 1 2B, 1 HR, 2 for 5 SB
Chinea - (62 AB) .323, 3 2B
Laird - (90 AB) .333, 2 2B, 1 3B, 15 for 15 SB (not a misprint)
Stevenson - (103 AB) .291, 2 2B, 1 HR, 15 for 16 SB
Hale - (100 AB) .300, 3 2B, 3 HR

Aside from Fraley, the hitting looks solid. That's exciting to see.

His lifetime BA isn't .350+. Doubt he'd be a good hitting coach.

We had another kid tearing up that league two or three seasons ago, from Mandeville I think. (transfer from Tulane maybe??). I dont think he ever made LSU's team not sure what happened but that was odd considering his success that summer.

ps - just read he transferred to Belhaven in 2012, and he only hit .157 in cape cod. Someone was bullshittin me I guess.

No no, just throwing the name out there that's all. Clearly it didnt work out here for him. Nice kid I met him one time and he was really nice to my little son thats why I remembered him.

Kramer Robertson has the highest average of our players in Cape Cod league... Idk whether to be happy or sad haha Love that Laird and Stevenson are learning to take bases and use their speed properly.

Interesting that he's been a pitching coach for the last 4 years.

All of the collegiate summer leagues use wood bats.

I just thought it was interesting. I just assumed he was their hitting coach. He's not coming here anyway so it doesn't matter.
