Insane if true. As much as I like James, the Spurs/OKC should easily be the favorites.

Overreaction.

But, has there ever been a team with four #1 overall picks on the roster before?

Because the Spurs are in the West.

If they made odds of who'd win between those two, the Spurs would be favored, but taking into account the path to the NBA finals and you get these odds.

Well it's mostly related to who people bet on, and I'm guessing most people have been betting on the Cavs. Another issue is the strength of the Western Conference. The West has many teams to get through in order to get to the Finals, whereas the East really only has 3 strong possibilities. If the Cavs were heads up against these teams in the finals right now I would think all of the Western teams would be favored.

ETA: I see the person right above me said almost the exact same thing.

Someone put I think $1000 on the Cavs to win at 40/1 the other day at MGM in Vegas.

Those are some pretty solid odds right now.

That's just money from marks flowing into Vegas. No one that follows the league thinks they can win a championship next season.

Majority of Cleveland's roster has never even been the playoffs.

It would be a remarkable feat to get that current roster to the finals, let alone win the damn thing.

They don't have any form of rim protector right now, which was one of the things that got the Heat killed in the Finals.

Wow nice. That's pretty much a bet he shouldn't lose money on.

Of course they CAN.

Idiot.

Most would probably say their ceiling is Eastern Conference champions at this point, but if they add Love. Then they have a very good chance.

Vegas is trying to balance out the money. They don't necessarily think the 2015 cavs will win, but all the suckers putting money on them lowers the odds.

Same with Norte dame, SC, the Dallas cowboys and other national brand name teams that get more action than others. Vegas is just trying to keep the money even

Another player who has never been to the playoffs. It may not matter against some bad Eastern conference opponent in the first round, that type of thing eventually has ways of catching up on a team.

I'll wait to see how good their defense is. For all the talk about the big 3 in Miami, a big reason they won two championships is because the entire team, role players included, bought into a defensive mindset.

Kevin Love is a choke artist because he's never been to the playoffs.

Nevermind the terrible ownership, lack of resources, front office failures that are the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Kevin Garrnett was a choke artist too, never should have won in Boston after all those failures of years in Minnesota.

And by the way, what do you mean another?

The Cavs will be stacked with guys who have had serious success in the playoffs including Varejao, and then the older guys that want to win like Miller/Allen and the like.

U real dum.
