GM has been saying they were gonna make a move at catcher for a backup for Cruz but rumor is they will start Kottaras in AAA, which I don't understand at all

There are several players in the organization right now who are frustrated by all this due to previous promises made by the organization, some even less than a week ago, not being fufilled

I can understand the frustration but do you want to hand over catching duties to a career back up and career minor leaguers or the career back up and a guy with some MLB seasons under his belt?

Well tony Cruz will be handling the catching duties, it's his backup we re discussing and I have no problem handing it off to a career minor leaguer

I guess I just disagree. Cruz should start but I'd rather have a known quantity behind him. Having said that if we were talking about Molina's back up I wouldn't have a problem with one of the minor leaguers.

Kottaras has a HR for every seven bats this season.

Cruz should and will start, no question there at all.

But this allows him to get some days off like he'll need, Cruz can't handle an every day workload as a career backup.

What a fricking win tonight though, I'm still partying.

you and me both, finally showed some life with the bats in a down situation

As frustrating as they have been they are only 1 game away from not only the divsion lead but having the best record in the NL.

Of course, since there is only a 13 game spread in the entire NL they could have the worst record in the league with a really bad month, too.
