After 2 stellar full-length albums the band returns with a nice surprise: One long insturmental track that will soothe your senses like no other. As far as the genre goes, this has to be one of the most laid-back jams released this year. Effervescent is 25 minutes of pure dreamy instrumental bliss and showcases a wonderful organic experimental side from All Them Witches.

Effervescent took me back to Riders on The Storm by The Doors, Funkadelic's Maggot Brain, The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Led Zeppelin. The most tasty psychedelic tunes of the 60's and 70's compiled into one admirable jam. I'm not sure where the band is heading with this tranquilizing trip, but since this one is freely available I assume this will only exsist as a freeform prototype jam of some kind. Nevertheless, this is an amazing piece of music from an amazing up-and-coming band.
