Blind has been a total boss, breaking up play and controlling the game from the deep-lying role. He seems to be what we've been missing there and is getting better every week.
The very first time Blind suited up for United, I thought to myself, "this is what the Dutch Kyle Beckerman looks like."

wow! huge increase.
i saw an article a couple days ago about his free kick prowess and how he's scored a bunch for the u-21 side. the article alluded to him being an option up there with wazza and di maria. thought that was pretty interesting.

They've mentioned it on the telecast just about every match he's featured in, apparently, he can absolutely bomb it.

has anybody ever done a tour through One United USA? if so, how was it? did you get a lot of bang for your buck? seriously considering doing it for the Man Utd-Man City game in April.
TIA

Im sure its good, but you will pay extremely out the arse.
Hope you a ready to drop well over a 1000 quid for tickets. They will be awesome seats but thats the only way you will get them with the VIP package if you are not a season ticket holder or member.
It would be much easier and cheaper to do a little research and do it yourself.

I hate having to wait all the way until Monday for a United match, especially after an international break.
Posted on 10/20/14 at 6:41 am to WarSlamEagle
Yea finally get to watch United tonight. MNF can't wait
Im thinking 3-1 tonight for the good guys. We will give up some shite goal b/c the backline is asleep.
Saw a LvG interview this morning he said

quote:
"When you see a match, when a trainer or coach is honest, you see his team is not playing 90 minutes at the highest level,” he said.
“So, that is not so difficult to feel and analyse, but to improve it is much more difficult. That is what we are looking for.
"The players are willing to do everything and we saw that in the matches against West Ham and Everton, but you have to do it in the right way.
"To kill a game, for example, you need a lot of discipline, and discipline together - not with three players or eight players, but with 11 players.
"That is the most difficult thing and we can do that, but that needs time."

Pumped. I'll be in social media blackout from 2 until whenever I get home so I can watch the match straight through with no interruptions.
3 points puts us back in fourth.

Moyes took charge of United in the summer of 2013 amid reports that he was personally chosen by Ferguson as the man to take over at Old Trafford.
But in excerpts of his updated autobiography, Ferguson denied such claims about the appointment of Moyes, who was sacked in April last year following a disastrous campaign.
"There appears to be an accepted view out there that there was no process. Nonsense," he writes.

Would Fergie be saying the same thing if Moyes was successful with the club?
Posted on 10/23/14 at 3:01 am to Ellis Dee
Doubt it
for some reason I think we pull a draw out of our arse vs Chelsea.

I'll take it..although I'd prefer a win, can't complain with getting 1 point against a very tough (as much as it kills me to say it) Chelsea squad.

quote:I guess Moyes is a bold-faced liar then (according to Fergie).. I watched an interview with Moyes who said Fergie drove to his house and told him he was retiring and "you're the new manager at Manchester United".
But in excerpts of his updated autobiography, Ferguson denied such claims about the appointment of Moyes, who was sacked in April last year following a disastrous campaign.
"There appears to be an accepted view out there that there was no process. Nonsense," he writes.
From article:
quote:Pretty sure we all realize the players who were able to play United style had aged to where they couldn't do it anymore (defense and midfield). Although with addition of Mata and DiMaria midfield looking good again. If this current squad had in-prime Rio, Vidic, Evra, and Neville they'd win the league every year. I think Fergie knew the run was nearing its end and the guys HE brought in especially defensively (Rafael, Evans, Smalling, Jones, Fabio, Buttner) weren't close to the same level.
The 72-year-old also suggested that Moyes "had not realised just how big United is as a club" and believes the high tempo attacking style he encouraged had been discarded. "The reason for playing at speed was that United players had been accustomed to operating that way," he wrote.
