Pre season tour of the states about to kick off and the LvG stop gap project is now really underway

Great buys so far investing in youth and in areas of need with holding midfield and the back. Still need some CB's and maybe a winger and we should be good.

S with the ninja first posts.

First page tho

I'm excited for the season. It's going to be completely different. New coach, new players, new system.

Can't wait for the mind games and press conferences of LvG. I think him and Mourinho will have some epic ones.

Don't own a Wazza kit yet so that'll be my jersey for the season.

some of the "mock" adidas kits that people have been coming up with have been pretty awesome. I'll post some up after I'm done seeing patients for the AM.

Hopefully I'll be more active on this thread this season.

Hopefully I'll have more of a reason to be more active on this thread this season.

In other news, I'm less than three weeks away from seeing our boys play in D.C.

LET'S TALK TRANSFERS, Y'ALL.

- Do we have any chance of getting Vidal? (I don't think so.)
- Who do you think the CB signing will be? De Vrij? TV5? Someone else?
- Who is out of here? (Fellaini, Nani, Chicharito.)
- If United were to sign another winger, who would you want?

Also, #NeverForget United's best jersey from the last few seasons (not this Chevy bowtie or collar and button nonsense) and the best wearer of said jersey.

i would imagine it doesn't make any financial sense for Nike to pay 60m/yr to provide gear, even for ManU. whereas a smaller company might want to make a splash. i would imagine the cut they get of gear sales is smaller than 60m/yr and they don't exactly need the advertising.

hope warrior's sexist, lacrosse-loving arse picks you guys up.

De Vrij

I think so. makes too much sense but Lazio are thinking they sign him. But if LvG says something im sure he listens

I hope we get Vidal. We have needed a cm for about 7 years now.

If Pogba stays put I think we can pry him away. I've seen lately how Chelsea may be trying to get Pogba and that if that's the case Juve will want to hold onto Vidal. We'll see.

I really like De Vrij. He has impressed me during the World Cup.

Ashley Young as well hopefully. Cleverley to Everton.

I'll have to think on this one.

I really do think we can get Vidal. Midfield and defensive upgrades are essential to getting back to the top of the table, and we need a bunch of them.

Completely agree. We have been needing to sign a good CM. and Ferdinand was old 4-5 years ago. Al though i would love a di maria or outside mid/ wing player, lets get CM/CB replacements

Vidal would be my No. 1 target (even over Di Maria), and there might still be a chance...but I don't know if Juve's financial issues are large enough to warrant a sale of probably their best player. If they can keep Pogba ( ), then we might have a small chance.

Don't really know why he would want to go to Lazio over United. He could come in and start fairly quickly. Evans, Jones and Smalling aren't head and shoulders above him by any means.

Dream big! I like it.

Apparently Alexis' agent is Vidal's agent, and a few papers are reporting talks have been encouraging for a transfer. Seeing £35-40M. A Chilean paper had it at £32M.
