Kershaw is holding opponents to a .318 OPS (.130/.164/.154) during the streak. For reference, major-league pitchers have a .306 OPS at the plate this season, so essentially Kershaw has turned every hitter into a pitcher.

Just gave up a homer to end the streak in the 6th.

Kid is a stud.

Not a dodgers fan but wouldn't mind if he won a championship

Anyone think Kershaw will be regarded as the greatest pitcher ever by the time his career is over?

I know in baseball it is pretty hard to top the old-school legends like Cy Young/Christy Mathewson and Gibson/Koufax/Feller etc... Playing today he certainly won't ever reach the win totals that guys were able to reach even 10 years ago...

But I mean this guy has been just absolutely dominant since immediately when he entered the league. Hasn't posted an ERA above 3.00 since his rookie year. Posted a sub 2 ERA and sub 1 WHIP last year. That is so ridiculous, I almost didn't think it was possible to be that dominant, that much better than everyone else. He's topping that this season. I mean the ERA/WHIP/K numbers he's putting up are just out of this fricking world, and HE'S ONLY TWENTY frickING SIX. He's only getting better, and I think he's already better than any pitcher I've seen in my lifetime.

Not impossible, as he's well on his way. Would love to see how he would have done in the steroid era.

If he can continue seasons like this for 6-7 more years or so then boom, guaranteed first ballot HoF guy.
