Wisconsin comes close here, as a few preseason polls have them a few spots above LSU. No biggie, but that squad was decimated by attrition, especially on defense.

Auburn is the team that comes to mind to me. Sure they made the national title game last year and their coach is one of the top notch new guys amongst coaches but they just don't strike me as this program here to stay only one year removed from going 0-8 in SEC play.

Their D is average at best and while they are one of the few SEC teams to return a decent QB and have some good backs returning they just don't strike much fear in me.

Similar to A&M, they just don't look to match up well with LSU much like they haven't the past few years.

The game is at Auburn this year so that's certainly an advantage for them but unless their D drastically improves over last year, just don't see them as the same caliber threat as the gumps.

Auburn or aTm. Auburn probably won't catch the breaks they did against UGA or Alabama again. aTm will lose a number of games. Those recruiting classes will take time to develop.

I'd say A&M is the most overrated. I doubt their defense will be any better and the offense will surely drop off a bit. Will be interesting to watch their season unfold and see how quickly all the pundits claim they saw the downfall coming.

Alabama is next from what I've seen regarding losses of personnel and I think breaking in a new QB after years of stability at that position will take its toll. Even Saban has to take some lumps every now and then (and after the debacle against Auburn last year, well deserved in my opinion too!).

Ole miss. I've read a few articles that predict them going 9-3. No way they win 9 games being in the sec west

Bama's O line won't be as good as years past and the qb won't be as good as fans think.

Add in kiffin and it's a recipe for disaster

I'm sorry but how did Auburn get where they got? I didn't think they were a good team and we easily handled them all game

I didn't keep up with any other teams, but I just remember them being in the NC game and I'm thinking... how?

Bama or TAMU

Bama: New quarterback, lost lots to the NFL and very highly rated before the season begins.

TAMU: No JFF and their defense is trash.
