I invite the OT to spend some time enjoying the Tour de France.

While you are waiting for football season to get here, the tour is a great distraction. Each day these guys (about 200 of them) ride around 100 miles toward Paris for 3 weeks.
Just set your dvr to record each morning, and you have hours of entertainment waiting for you when you get home in the evening. Go ahead and fast forward through the action, or sit back and relax as they meander through some of the prettiest areas of Europe.
Each day is a bit different. Some days are flat and fast, some days involve huge mountain climbs. Most days are five hour rides, some days are just 45 minute time trials. The favorites change day to day as the skill sets needed change for each daily course. For example, yesterday was a dirty, rainy ride over cobblestones that resembled more of an off road contest. Great chance to cheer on some Americans in a different sport as well.
Enjoy!

I like it when one rides over the edge of a mountain.

Is Lance riding? No? Then who gives a shite.

Why would I want to watch "about 200 dudes" riding around on bikes for hours in skin tight shorts?
Posted on 7/10/14 at 1:44 pm to Kingpenm3
I'd rather watch paint dry, plus they are some obnoxious mofos on the streets

I respect people who do this.
I do not want to watch them ride in a pack for several hours.

Always good fun. Just like Nascar. Yesterday there were around 40 wrecks. Nonstop carnage.

Note for the wise...do not DVR the second broadcast...always opt for the third (2pm - 4pm).
Otherwise, when you turn it on you will get the recap of the live broadcast and likely see who won the damn stage. yes, I learned the hard way.....multiple times

Each day is a bit different. Some days the athletes use oral steriods or growth hormones. Other days its intravenous. Some days they infuse packed red blood cells intravenously to increase their blood oxygenation. It's really a joy to watch them scurry to get around the testing. Great chance to cheer on some Americans in a different sport as well.
Fixed it for you...

Yes lets follow a sport where the winner will inevitably be disqualified after the race for doping

I'd rather masturbate with sandpaper. Fifty grit.
