It's a half border collie half blue heeler. Anything I need to know as far as teaching this dog how to perform amazing tricks for guests and common folk?

That may be a slightly neurotic dog. I have a border collie beagle mix. Very playful with people and all animals. He just digs and doesn't always listen.

My dog is half border collie, half husky. Border collie's are ridiculously smart and great with kids. Ours gets the paper every morning

Sounds like a good mix. They're both working dogs.

Ought to be a good Frisbee dog.

Feed the dog lots of chocolate. It's their favorite snack and it helps improve their trick development if administered at an early age.

Look up clicker training, an fast way to teach your dogs the basic commands; sit, stay, lay, and heel. Good luck with your pup!
