As a Houston sports fan and an Aggie, it doesn't even phase me anymore.

Chill out #bruh

If we somehow keep a hold of Hugo and Vert, and we add a new attacking midfielder/winger and striker we will be in great shape for next season. This is the first time in years our boy have played in an attacking system and it will work. Just give it some time.

If I could grow up a saints fan I can deal with this Lol. Spurs are easier to root for than the saints in the 90's.

Didn't we just resign Hugo? If he leaves at least we will get big money to re invest.

Last summer to a 5 year deal, yeah. That won't stop teams from coming after him, the guy is top 5 in the world.

I really want a great DM to pair with Bentaleb. It's crazy that we were so close to getting Schneiderlin. He was begging for a move to us. Now there will be a bidding war between the very top clubs for him this summer, and we have no shot.

I've said it before, but Poch's system relies heavily on two great defensive midfielders. If we can upgrade there, we will see a lot less goals conceded on the counter attack. You need truly elite DMs who can both absorb and start the attack while staying extremely positinally disciplined. Bentaleb is on track to be world class in my opinion.

The boat hasn't sailed for me on Ryan Mason yet. I think he can continue getting a lot better defensively. However, I certainly wouldn't mind an upgrade at the defensive midfielder spot. Maybe not even an upgrade, just someone on Mason and Bentaleb's level for rotational purposes. I like our 1st team a lot, I think we need to focus on stacking our bench.

This all day.

When I started looking in to the EPL one of the many pieces I read said that the Spurs were very much comparable with the Saints. Others said Tottenham is hard to root for because of their propensity for letting their fans down at times.

Being a life long Saints fan I knew this club was a perfect fit for me. I've been groomed for this and I know that the enduring the hard times and sticking by your team make the glorious times all the much more enjoyable.

I remember reading a long article about how we could actually afford to keep Bale last summer (after we spent all of that money but before we sold him). It diagrammed our spending over the last several years. We have a lot more money than Levy lets on. Or he is just funnelling it all to himself.

I was thinking we would have around £40,000,000 before we sell anyone. But maybe that should be higher according to that article you read.
