Legion Field, the Birmingham Americans vs the Southern California Sun. Well,there were other games that night,too. Fun stuff at first and pretty good crowds. But when college football and the NFL got going,they were cooked. Birmingham won this game, 11-7.

The WFL (and Joe Robbie's tightwad nature) did more to end the Dolphins' dynasty than anything else.
