NBA offseason > NBA regular season

The offseason is always fun, which is understandable, it's a league of stars we follow personalities more so than teams. Much more fun than NFL IMO.

True, and a lot of it has to do with the fact that the NBA is essentially the only league with a true free agency system. The NFL has a convoluted system of restricted free agency, and rarely is a true marquee superstar on the open market (the Peyton Manning situation was an anomaly). The MLB has an odd, extended arbitration structure tied to time in the majors, and players are usually locked up before they hit the open market, but occasionally we'll see older superstars sign mega deals like those of Cano, Pujols and A-Rod, but it doesn't seem to be a regular occurrence.
I'm not much of an NBA fan, but it really does have the most fun free agency.

i'll buy it
the last couple months of the regular season are tight but there's no denying that the regular season is kinda slow at times. the offseason seems like it's never slow
and when it IS slow... like this year... it's because there's typically something really big lurking around the corner, like the Heat maybe disbanding the Big 3 or Carmelo maybe leaving New York or something

The NBA off season is slightly overrated. Every year there are big rumors - but hardly ever does anything come to fruition.

nah wouldn't go that far... i actually enjoy live basketball and not just the idea of it...
