Building a shed, anyone familiar with distance from property line-Lafourche?

My property has water to the back and 50' of state ROW to the side. I'm trying to layout the shed I want to build. I heard that I have to stay 10' from my line on the side and from the high water line in the back. This would put the shed too close to my house and actually further from the high water line than my house is.
Is anyone here familiar with building setbacks when the property lines are adjacent to state land?

I'd just call and ask, unless you're trying to build it on the down low.
