What would the benefit be of this. The terror of knowing a bomb was launched would probably benefit.

Missle shield or other forms of defensive weaponry would be useless if you can't detect it.

Are stealth nukes really a big deal? I guess in the hands of terrorists they would be, but in the hands of a fellow nation state, unless you go for the kill shot with your first volley, you basically trigger the mutual destruction of both nation states.

Every technological advance will be exploited for it's military value. Hell, that's how a lot of shite gets discovered in the first place, it's how humans have been since tribal days. Hate everyone that doesn't have your interests in mind I guess
