So much for omgg the safety of the German team or its fans post people were making.

Several hundred Brazilian supporters waited for hours in the pouring rain to cheer the Germany players as they disembarked their team bus shortly after midnight and boarded a ferry for the crossing to their quarters in Santo Andre.
Many in the crowd chanted "Alemann, Alemann, Alemann" (Germany, Germany, Germany) amid raucous celebrations as fireworks lit up the night sky and revellers ignored the showers that threatened to dampen the party atmosphere.
"We just like the way Germany play - all the creative goals and all the great passing they do," said Breno Antunes, one of the scores of police officers keeping watch over the bus and players on the short journey to the ferry.

When a few people shown up to great saints getting off the plane after a playoff loss they are the minority while majority britches non stop on a message board.
if the ones that were level headed were the only fans then I could see why could point at this as German fans have nothing to fear.
But at a bar tonite I have a feeling crowd may not be as woo hoo and shite

I saw video this morning on sky from the bars and fan parks no issues at all.
Even the brazil fans at the game said the issues were b/w Brazil fans fighting each other, spending the whole 2nd half getting drunk and fighting.
Brazilians are not very hostile to visitors unless you roll into the wrong part of town but thats anyone who would get robbed.

I dont trust them
Mikeys trust list
1) be American
2) thou shall not be darker than me
3) if darker than me but can name 3 nhl all stars and pass #1 then you can be on trust probation but my wallet will be moved to front pocket.

loved them joining in on the ole chants. Brazil fans respect beautiful football, always have. It's just unfortunate for them that their team hasn't given them beautiful football in a very long time.

There's a reason Brazil banned alcohol sales at soccer matches.
