The worst congress in history is the one that passed the massive clusterfrick (Obamacare) WITHOUT frickING READING IT!

I can't find a good one in history.

Perhaps during recess?

No. They still pass to much legislation.

Current Senate is atrocious. Ending cancer could hinge on a piece of legislation, and Harry Reid wouldn't put it to a vote if it had a Republican's name on it.

That's a tall order. Congress is the land of broken toys.

Just wondering about some historical context for the clusterfrick we currently have.

I would argue that they are the best. Having a logjam in congress means that status quo is not changed. With the current make up of the congress and executive branch, if things change its not going to be in my favor as a conservative.

The one the that they are terrible at that really makes me mad is getting to the bottom of government corruption. That should be bipartisan but it is not. I believe the blame should go to Elijah Cummings, Harry Reid, and the Justice Department.

Further, having Pubs in control of the purse strings has helped the rate of the deficit spending decrease (which Obama is now taking credit for a la Clinton).
