Thought I saw something during LF's recruiting that his younger brother was as good or better in some areas. Any word on him being on LSU's wanted list and would he be a '16 class?

He's no where near as good as LF. He's a tweener in college, a RB/Slot WR type player but I really think he could be a very good safety at the next level. He's about 5'10 180-190 and runs pretty well.

He'll get an offer eventually IMO but idk what he'll actually play. He's an ATH but Kirk Merritt is a much better choice on the offensive side of the ball but I could see LSU offering as a defensive player

Its kind of interesting that the only 2 offers he has from SEC schools were the 2 major players for his brother's services. And being he hasn't committed to either school when his only other major offer is from "The U" makes me think that they aren't committable.

Saw him play several games, he looked smaller, but still looked like an above average athlete....

We'll have the room for him and Merritt. I don't think we get either though. IMO, he is looking for an offer where he can actually get on the field. He'll never see it with Bama, LSU, and I even doubt at Miami. I think he wants something realistic and not as low on the totem as Tulane.

Then again, it's not like he is going to camps or events trying to get recognized. If he has though, I haven't heard any news about him.

I mean you are hearing about other guys with prior family on the team like Raymond and Reid, I've wondered what has he been up to.

He's a good football player. He will turn some heads leading the st aug team this year. He reminds me a lot of darius reynaud in high school, who ended up playing slot at West Virginia and making it to the NFL. He can be a contributor down the line as a 3rd down back/returner/slot wr.

I'd look for his stock to rise this year. I watched a few St. Aug games and was impressed by his play. I agree with the earlier lists that he may be better on defense, but he was pretty legit with the ball in his hands. Given that he was on a team loaded with D1 talent and he was the back up running back to THE LF, he didn't get as much as attention as he deserved. I believe he's someone that can come into the SEC and contribute by his sophomore/junior season. He'll never escape the comparisons between him and his brother though.

Wouldn't mind him being part of the program but he needs to do what's best for him in terms if playing time and getting a shot at the next level.

Does he want to establish his own identity and maybe not always be compared to LF? It is certainly not always easy being the younger brother of an extraordinarily talented athlete like LF.

If so, he might look elsewhere. I had not looked at Lanard's situation from such a standpoint, but just hope he has a chance to contribute on the collegiate level, whether it is at LSU or elsewhere.
