First time season ticket holder. I got section 639 because of chair backs. Row J. Just want honest opinions about these seats? I just had the opportunity this year so I locked them in.

Sat in that section the 2011 season, great view, you won't miss a thing. Easy access to concessions. Pray for night games, it's hot up there.

They are upper deck seats. Upper deck seats suck but at least you are in the stadium. (cue the upper deck season ticket holders saying they are the best seats in the house ... I wouldn't trade them for other seats...blah blah blah). If you've ever sat up there and then in the lower bowl, you choose lower bowl every time, with exception of first 1-10 rows from the field.

Yea spider I've sat up there it's been along time and I much prefer lower bowl. But all that was really available unless I was right behind away teams bench was uppers that ran consecutive seating. I just wanted to lock season tickets which would be easier to upgrade than acquire after this year i would addime

Former upper deck season ticket holder......I traded mine the minute I had the chance to get into the lower bowl. And the chairbacks, while certainly better than the bleacher seats, they're still upper deck and weren't worth the extra donation as they're more expensive than either north or south endzone seats. Also, it can be a pain to sell upper deck tickets, people see section 6xx and they run the other way. My bleacher seats, the most I ever got last season was $10. One game all I got was $5 and a Bud Light.

I am in 639 row J, seats 1-6.

View is good, You can see the whole field.
Good section of people. Day games are very hot. Take escalator to get to seats. Easy access to concessions and bathrooms.

If I could get on the lower bowl I would but there is no way I could get 6 seats together.

I agree. For over 40 years, my family has seats in Section 209 -- 13 rows up from the field.
The lower bowl is a total different experience. The Stadium Club and suites, IMO, are just too pulled away from the crowd and the game. It's almost like watching it on TV. I remember watching the game from the West Stadium club and looking at my Section 209 and thinking, "damn, I wish I was in our seats'.

Yea i have sit in the lower bowl on several occasions, and ive sat in the West Uppers several times. Never season tickets though. As one at least its in the stadium.

LSUBILLY . I have seats 7-8. I dont know how many games i will make personally as i work out of town quite a bit. Im sure we will run across each other soon enough! If you ever need a spare or 2 let me know!

That is a misconception. You have no more chance of upgrading than you do of acquiring. It all revolves around the point system. You will still be behind people with a higher points ranking when it comes to adding/upgrading.
