Just got to watching this and I'm 3 episodes in. Does it get better? Worse? The acting is pretty solid. I really like Eva Green and Hartnett. Curious as to the consensus on the board.

pretty good, though I'm burned out on supernatural shows with a heavy touch of the gay.

it gets the gay later? does it go full True Blood or just fringe gay like GoT?

I feel it is headed the true blood gay route
everyone is special (like in true blood they just can't have typical humans everyone is a fairy, werepanther, werewolf, shifter, vampire, and on and on and on) and of course everyone is of a vague sexual persuasion if not outright gay (except lord Malcolm and the black guy who doesn't talk)
so I won't be watching season 2 of what is otherwise an alright show with good production values
there is no GOT gay, I'd say GOT is what it is. It isn't self aware. There is no attempt to be socially or politically relevant. There are gay people in Westeros...makes sense. Bon Temps is a place of statistical absurdity

I stopped watching when they brought in the minotaur woman.
