My relative who worked at the White House says note that there are no shadows in Oval Office pics.
It is because the office is super over lit (think of a theater stage) and lit from above (the round circle that rims the office is full of lights). My guy says you cannot even dampen the lights to get the "gloomy/romantic" scenes you sometimes see in movies or the West Wing tv shos. He says when you are in the Oval you always feel like you are not in a working room but some kind of stage area.

Oh hell no. When I'm president, all that crap is gone.
You can call my presidency, "a return to normalcy".

I read this at like 5:00 a.m. Perhaps I need to re-read it because it seemed like a lot of empty stuff to me.

Just some interesting insights into how his public and private calendars are managed. I am very cognizant of the importance of getting on a senior leaders calendar and making your point. It is incredibly childish oftentimes. So glad I will be retiring from the Army within the next year or so.

What the hell happened between 10:05 and 10:25???!!?!!??? Can the President account for his actions/whereabouts during this critical 20 minutes?
Thought they could slip that by us? What's really going on at the White House????
