Currently watching Breaking Bad, The Wire, and House of Cards for the first time. Also re-watching Friday Night Lights with the wife since she hasn't seen it.

Yeah I've heard good things about 6FU, but I haven't started it because I don't know how I'd like a show about a funeral home

I'm watching Six Feet Under now, just finished season 2. I like it. I like the commentary on the frailness of life. It is also interesting watching stereotypes of how different cultures deal with death. I like most of the characters and their progression so far (Ruth, Claire, David).
There have been some suspenseful episodes, but this is not really a binge watch kinda show. Also, the show takes the issue of homosexuality head on. I wonder if this show gets so much love for the way it depicts gay life.

Lilyhammer. I think it's pretty funny so far 8 episodes in.

Do yourself a favor and watch this show. It's one of my favorite series ever. I put it slightly below Breaking Bad.

Rewatching The Returned (Les Revenants) on Netflix, its even better than I originally thought. Its flawless, I highly recommend.
