You know an album is good when you don't particularly care for the genre, but still listen to the album. Emo was never my thing but I still find myself listening to Tell All Your Friends. Ghost Man on Third and Timberwolves at New Jersey are standouts, but the whole album is good.

The live acoustic 10 year anniversary is good also. A different take/feel to the songs.

Same for Starting Line and Thursday. I can still listen to them a decade after their emergence. Not their new shite but what they started with.

Excellent topic.

Excellent album.

I once went to see them in Houston and when Adam did his mic thing, busted some kid's front lip open. Quite the experience.

I love a lot of the "rock" music from back then. Yellowcard, The Starting Line, Sugarcult, Sum 41, Blink 182, ect are all solid 10 years later. It's a shame that that genre seemed to die out completely some time around 2005-2006.

TBS was my 9th grade jam. Was always either them with "Tell All Your Friends", Thursday, Northstar, or Brand New's "Deja Entendu" on constant rotation.

Deja Entendu is still probably my all time favorite album ever.

Kids these days don't know about finding new bands on PureVolume and MySpace.

I found Skrillex before he was Skrillex through PureVolume. I have the CD sitting on my shelf - not one I ever listen to though.

I was so stoked when they got John Nolan and Shaun Cooper back. I had seen them several times in concert but never with the TAYF line up.

My wife and I went to see them in ATL when Thursday was opening for them. It was like being transported back to high school for us. Freaking LOVED it! Loved seeing John with them.

We didn't know that was Thursday's last tour together. I'm glad we got to see them, too.

This album molded me in high school. Before it I didn't have my identity. After it I got deep into punk for a while. This was my first real personal discovery.

WYWTB is really really good, but doesn't have the nostalgia attached to it that TAYF does for me. That dings it.

Me and two of my buddies were the first fans to hear "This Photograph is Proof" live , though.

We were going to see TBS in Nashville at the Mercy Lounge. We showed up that afternoon and swung by the venue to pick up our tickets. It just so happened the band was setting up for sound check! They played a few songs, including a new one that none of us had ever heard. That night at the actual show when they played it they prefaced it with, "This is our first time playing this song for a live audience, so be gentle."

It was awesome.

I'm an Eric Valentine fanboy, but TBS albums were mediocre until he produced Louder Now. The band will tell you the same.

Meh. The sound got tighter, but that's about it. The rawness of TAYF is what makes it great.

Great stuff. Yellowcard, TBS, blink 182, all that stuff is fantastic. I miss it
