Circa '88 was my senior year in HS....could definitely something like that taking place at the Weedlawn HS auditorium for our talent show. Rap was definitely crossing over to mainstream at that time. I was into RUN DMC, LL, 2 Live Crew, Whodini, Fat Boys, Beastie Boys, etc.. Great time to grow up.
